Braelyn Simone Greenfield, professionally known as B. Simone, was born on April 5, 1990, in Dallas, Texas. Her early life included performing with a girl group and uploading music to MySpace at age 16. Growing up in a church environment, with her father serving as a senior pastor, Simone later moved from Dallas to Atlanta, Georgia, to further pursue an entertainment career. This move marked a significant turning point as she fully embraced her ambition in the entertainment industry.

Simone gained considerable recognition in 2017 when she joined the cast of the popular sketch comedy and battle rap show, “Wild ‘n Out,” appearing in numerous seasons since her debut. In the same year, she released her debut album, “Stack Now Cry Later.” Her career expanded into acting with roles in films like “#DigitalLivesMatter” (2016), “I Got the Hook Up 2” (2019), and various TV movies including “Dear Santa, I Need a Date” (2019) and “Hip Hop Family Christmas” (2021). She also held recurring roles in television series such as “You’re My Boooyfriend” and “Finding Happy” (2022).

Beyond entertainment, Simone has established herself as an entrepreneur. In 2019, she founded “B. Simone Beauty,” a vegan and cruelty-free beauty brand, which notably achieved significant sales figures shortly after its launch. Although the brand is currently on hiatus, she continued her entrepreneurial ventures by collaborating with Footaction in 2021 to release a clothing line called “Faith Over Fear.” In 2020, she opened for comedian Martin Lawrence on the “Lit AF Comedy Tour” and launched her own “Still Standing Tour” in May 2024, demonstrating her continued commitment to comedy and performing for live audiences.
