London-based actor and dancer Luke Latchman is making a name for himself throughout the West End. He is best known for starring in The Apollo theatre production Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and Southwark Playhouse’s Working. A graduate of the Art Educational School in London, Latchman quickly earned his acting stripes with the Royal Shakespeare Company’s A Christmas Carol and Twelfth Night. From there, he would feature in numerous productions around the country, including the cult musical Spring Awakening, the award-winning Flowers for Mrs Harris and the titular role in the Lyric Theatre’s pantomime, Dick Whittington. Now one of the fasting rising stars in the business, Latchman is at the front of a long and exciting career.
Latchman’s portrayal in Everyone’s Talking About Jamie earned him rave reviews. Mosta Gigz claimed that his performance was “a charismatic triumph in the starring role.” Despite the coronavirus pandemic shutting down the West End, Latchman wasn’t complacent. Latchman will make his big onscreen debut as Griff in the Camila Cabello starring modern musical adaptation of Cinderella from the visionary director of Pitch Perfect Kay Cannon. As Latchman takes his next leap of faith and pushes his performance skills to the next level, his star is undoubtedly about to be born.
