Mac O’Keefe

Mac O’Keefe established himself as a record-breaking talent during his collegiate career at Penn State from 2017 to 2021. In his freshman year, he set a new Penn State single-season goal record with 51 goals, earning multiple Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week honors. His collegiate accolades include being a 3x All-American and 3x First Team All-Big Ten selection. Transitioning to the professional ranks, O’Keefe was selected sixth overall by Chaos in the 2021 Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) College Draft.

He immediately made an impact, winning a PLL Championship in his rookie season (2021) with Chaos. Prior to his PLL debut, he was also drafted 15th overall in the 2020 NLL Draft by the San Diego Seals, demonstrating his versatility across both field and box lacrosse. O’Keefe is widely recognized for his powerful and accurate shooting ability, a trait often compared to a ‘stretch shooter’ in basketball. In the 2023 offseason, O’Keefe made a significant move, signing a two-year contract with the Archers, where he reunited with former Penn State teammate Grant Ament.

This reunion proved fruitful, with O’Keefe securing his second PLL Championship in 2023 with the Archers, further solidifying his reputation as a championship-winning player. His consistent elite performance also earned him a spot as a PLL All-Star in 2023. O’Keefe continued his dominant run into 2024, securing his third career PLL Championship with the Archers. He was once again recognized for his outstanding play, earning a second consecutive PLL All-Star selection in 2024.

Expanding his international profile, O’Keefe also earned a silver medal as a World Lacrosse Box Championships Runner-up in 2024. Beyond his on-field achievements, O’Keefe shares valuable insights on performance and strategic play, drawing from his extensive professional experience.
