Amardeep Singh Dhanjal, recognized as Magic Singh, began his journey into magic at the age of 11, after receiving a deck of trick cards. This initial spark led to a self-guided study through books, journals, and computer resources, rapidly developing his skills in magic and sleight of hand. His talent became evident through performances for family, school peers, and teachers, earning him the moniker “Magic Singh.” At 15, he joined ‘The Young Magician’s Circle,’ gaining access to the exclusive materials of The Magic Circle HQ in London. By 18, he achieved full membership in the elite ‘The Magic Circle,’ solidifying his commitment to the art form.

Magic Singh has developed a unique style that integrates visual magic and mind-reading, performing for diverse audiences across various global events, including festivals, weddings, private gatherings, charity galas, and corporate functions. His performances have been witnessed by notable figures such as Dame Judi Dench, Craig David, Wladimir Klitschko, Sachin Tendulkar, Emeli Sandé, Peter Andre, Keith Lemon, The Black Eyed Peas, Simon Pegg, Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, and Jackie Shroff. In 2018, he delivered a TEDx talk in Chandigarh, North India, discussing magic as an art form, further showcasing his perspective on the craft. His career progressed from a childhood hobby to a professional path during his university studies in film and television production, where word-of-mouth led to bookings at various events across London and the UK.

His final university project, a street magic show, became his professional showreel, enabling him to launch his career full-time as “Magic Singh.” He views his British-Indian heritage, particularly his turban, as an integral part of his identity and a distinctive element of his brand, rejecting earlier advice that it would hinder his success. This cultural fusion contributes to his modern and universally appealing performances, which resonate with a wide audience. He has also appeared on television, including ‘Penn & Teller: Fool Us,’ further expanding his reach and demonstrating his work to millions. His career reflects a sustained dedication to his craft and an ongoing commitment to create memorable magical experiences.
