Malik Nabers

Malik Nabers was born on July 28, 2003, in Lafayette, Louisiana. He attended Ovey Comeaux High School before transferring to Southside High School in Youngsville, Louisiana, for his senior year. Despite being unable to play football in his senior year due to a transfer waiver denial, he led Louisiana in his final playing season with 58 receptions for 1,223 yards and 21 touchdowns. Nabers initially committed to Mississippi State University for college football before ultimately signing with Louisiana State University (LSU).

At LSU, Nabers quickly made an impact. As a true freshman in 2021, he started six of 11 games, recording 28 receptions for 417 yards and four touchdowns. His college career culminated in a unanimous All-American selection in 2023, where he led the FBS with 1,569 receiving yards. He concluded his time at LSU as the all-time leader in receiving yards with 3,003, showcasing consistent high-level performance across his collegiate seasons.

Nabers was selected sixth overall by the New York Giants in the 2024 NFL Draft, signing a four-year, $29.9 million fully guaranteed rookie contract. He quickly established himself in the NFL, setting multiple rookie wide receiver and franchise records. In his debut season (2024), he recorded 109 receptions for 1,204 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games. This performance earned him a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team and Pro Bowl honors. In his second season (2025), he continued his strong performance, although it was cut short due to a torn ACL. Nabers holds NFL records for most games with five or more receptions by a rookie (14 games) and youngest wide receiver with multiple touchdowns in a game (21 years and 56 days). He also holds Giants franchise records for most receptions in a season and most receptions in a rookie season.
