During his first season with the club he was awarded the player of the season award, before he moved again in 2000 to Bristol Rovers on a free transfer. A change in management saw Bignot depart Rovers, and he signed for Queens Park Rangers.
He stayed at Loftus Road for one season on his first stint at the club and made 44 appearances, before moving to Rushden & Diamonds. Here, he won promotion to the Second Division and was resigned by QPR.
