Marcus Holman is a distinguished American professional lacrosse player currently competing for the Cannons Lacrosse Club in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) and serving as an assistant coach for the Utah Utes men’s lacrosse team. Holman began his illustrious career at the University of North Carolina, where he made a significant impact as an attackman. He became UNC’s all-time leading scorer, a record he held until 2015, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.
During his time at UNC, Holman earned numerous accolades, including the ACC Freshman of the Year award in 2010 and being named the team’s most valuable player in both 2011 and 2012. His performance on the field was recognized with selections to the All-ACC team and a second-team All-American honor in 2012. Holman’s scoring prowess culminated in him surpassing the previous school record of 204 goals, solidifying his legacy at the university.
