Mariana Drazic, born on January 8, 1995, in Makarska, Croatia, began her tennis career at the age of eight, training at a small tennis club in Brela. She is the daughter of Darko Dražić, a former football player and a member of the first Croatian national team in 1990, as well as a former captain for Hajduk Split.
