The suave and handsome Mark Tacher is an incredibly talented, award-winning actor, producer, musician, vocalist, guitarist, TV host, and model. He is best known for starring in numerous telenovelas in Mexico, Venezuela and Columbia, including La Reina del Sur, and La hija del mariachi.
Born and raised in Mexico City, Tacher grew up with a love for entertaining and went on to study performance in Mexico at Azteca CEFAT (El Centro de Formación de Actores para la Televisión) from 1997-99, as well as music, guitar, singing, and DeeJaying at Academia G. Martell. From 2005-2006 he studied acting at Tecnicas de Perfeccionamiento Actoral, La Verdad sin Esfuerzo in Venezuela. He made his first TV appearance as the host of Nintendomanía in 1996, and his acting debut came two years later when he appeared in Tres veces Sofía. Since then he has acted in numerous theatrical plays, TV shows, Mexican telenovelas, and has hosted several more TV programmes. He has also starred in telenovelas in Venezuela and Colombia, receiving two awards, including Best Actor in Venezuela for his role in 2005’s Mujer con pantalones. He most recent part was playing the main role in 2021’s Mexican comedy series The War Next-door.
