Marta Menegatti

Marta Menegatti has transitioned from a decorated junior beach volleyball player to a seasoned Olympian and European champion. After earning numerous medals at various age-group World and European Championships, Marta Menegatti made her FIVB World Tour debut in 2009, partnering with Greta Cicolari. This partnership quickly gained international recognition, achieving their first World Tour podium finish with a silver medal at the Phuket Open in November 2010. The same year, Menegatti secured a U21 World Championships silver medal.

However, a pivotal moment arrived with the return of Viktoria Orsi Toth to competitive play in July 2018. The revitalized pair immediately showcased their prowess by winning the Agadir Open that same month and consistently placing in the top ten in subsequent World Tour events. This resurgence successfully propelled Menegatti back into the top 25 of the world rankings. She continued to demonstrate her enduring commitment to elite competition by participating in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, finishing 19th.

Marta Menegatti maintained her formidable presence on the international stage into 2024, earning a European Championships Silver medal. Her consistent performance and resilience culminated in her fourth Olympic appearance at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, where she achieved a ninth-place finish. Throughout her illustrious career, Menegatti has continuously reaffirmed her status as a top-tier athlete, demonstrating unwavering dedication and competitive spirit in professional beach volleyball.
