Martin Klebba

Martin Klebba gained substantial recognition for his role as Marty, a dwarf pirate, in the highly successful ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ film series, beginning with ‘The Curse of the Black Pearl’ in 2003. He reprised this memorable character in subsequent installments including ‘Dead Man’s Chest’ (2006), ‘At World’s End’ (2007), and ‘Dead Men Tell No Tales’ (2017), establishing a consistent presence in one of Hollywood’s major franchises. Klebba’s career began with early appearances on ‘The Howard Stern Show’ in the 1990s and early 2000s, before transitioning into film with a cameo in Tim Burton’s ‘Planet of the Apes’ (2001). He also starred as Friday, one of the seven dwarfs, in the 2001 television film ‘Snow White: The Fairest of Them All.’ Klebba expanded his acting portfolio with roles such as a fight announcer in ‘Cradle 2 the Grave’ (2003) and Hank Dingo in ‘Knee High P.I.’ (2003).

He also branched into production, serving as a producer for ‘In the Gray’ (2012), executive producer for ‘College Fright Night’ (2014), and co-producer for ‘Monsters on Main Street’ (2014). His extensive stunt work continued with contributions to ‘Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker’ (2019), ‘Zombieland: Double Tap’ (2019), and ‘Bad Boys for Life’ (2020), further solidifying his reputation for diverse and impactful physical performance in high-profile projects. In recent years, Klebba has continued to secure notable roles, voicing Spyder in ‘Pacific Rim: The Black’ (2021–2022) and portraying Nicky Boots in ‘DumbFellas’ (2022). His utility stunt work includes ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ (2021), ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ (2022), and ‘Peter Pan & Wendy’ (2023), with ongoing stunt contributions in 2024 for ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ and ‘IF.’ Klebba is also slated for significant upcoming projects in 2025, providing voice and facial motion capture for Grumpy in ‘Snow White’ and appearing as Herman and Milkman Bot in ‘The Electric State,’ alongside stunt performer work in ‘A Minecraft Movie.’ Additionally, he leads the Coalition for Dwarf Advocacy, a nonprofit foundation dedicated to supporting individuals with dwarfism.
