Dana DeLorenzo

Dana DeLorenzo was born in Youngstown, Ohio, where her comedic talents were evident from a young age. By the age of three, she was independently creating and recording knock-knock jokes. Her professional performing career began at age 11, securing her first paid role performing Abbott and Costello’s “Who’s On First” alongside her younger brother in a weekly variety show.

DeLorenzo pursued higher education at DePaul University in Chicago, graduating with a degree in Media Communications. Following her graduation, she worked as an on-air personality and producer for “The Mancow Show.” In parallel to her radio career, she continued to engage in theatrical productions in Chicago. In 2008, DeLorenzo formed an Amy Winehouse tribute band named House of Winehouse, which gained international recognition for her portrayal of the singer. The band performed at various festivals and venues, including Pridefest Milwaukee and House of Blues Chicago, and was voted Best Tribute Band by The Chicago Reader in 2010.

Her career progressed with a move to Los Angeles, where she secured roles in television series such as “Californication,” “Workaholics,” and “2 Broke Girls,” and films like “A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas” (2011). DeLorenzo gained further recognition through her recurring role as Beth the CBS Executive on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.” A significant career milestone was her casting as Kelly Maxwell in the horror-comedy series “Ash Vs. Evil Dead” (2015-2018), where her performance earned her nominations for a Fangoria Chainsaw Award and an iHorror Award for Best Actress in a Horror Series. In 2018, she received the Artemis Women in Action Next Wave award. Subsequent roles include appearances in “Will & Grace” (2018), “Perpetual Grace, LTD.” (2019), “Friendsgiving” (2020), voicing characters in animated projects like “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and “King Tweety,” and reprising her role as Kelly Maxwell in “Evil Dead: The Game” (2022).
