At nine months old, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were cast in the role of Michelle Tanner on the ABC sitcom ‘Full House’ (1987-1995), a role they shared for the show’s entire eight-year run. This early success propelled them to establish Dualstar in 1993, a production company responsible for numerous direct-to-video films and TV movies starring the twins, including the widely popular ‘It Takes Two’ (1995). Their acting careers expanded further throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s with TV series such as ‘Two of a Kind’ (1998-1999) and ‘So Little Time’ (2001-2002), alongside the animated series ‘Mary-Kate and Ashley in Action!’ (2001-2002). In 2004, Mary-Kate and Ashley assumed full control of Dualstar, becoming its joint-CEOs and presidents.
In 2008, they further cemented their industry presence by co-authoring the critically acclaimed book ‘Influence,’ which featured exclusive interviews with numerous influential fashion designers, offering insights into their creative processes and careers.
