With over two decades as the Aerial Coordinator of the Red Bull Air Force Stunt Team, Jon Devore has established himself as a world-renowned professional skydiver, stunt performer, and aerial cinematographer, accumulating more than 22,000 skydives and BASE/wingsuit jumps across a distinguished 30-year career. Devores expertise in human flight began in 1993, leading him to relocate to Skydive Arizona in 1994, where he played a pivotal role in advancing the discipline of freeflying. He became one of the initial full-time freefly coaches, and through his team, Alchemy, he organized numerous freefly world record attempts, significantly contributing to the development of this segment of the sport. His competitive prowess is underscored by two World Champion titles and three National Champion titles, solidifying his status as a leader in aerial performance.
Devore seamlessly transitioned his specialized aerial skills to the film industry, contributing to numerous Hollywood feature films as a stunt coordinator, skydiving stunt performer, and aerial cinematographer. In 2011, he performed as a wingsuit flyer in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. He then joined the skydiving team ‘Barrel of Monkeys’ for Iron Man 3 in 2013 and provided stunt work for Point Break in 2015. His role as stunt coordinator for Chain Reaction – 8 Disciplines of Flight in 2016 further showcased his leadership in complex aerial sequences.
His ongoing work includes coordinating skydiving demonstrations and live shows globally for the Red Bull Air Force, continuing to educate the public about the sport he has helped shape for three decades.
