Masi Oka has forged a distinctive career path, bridging the worlds of technology and entertainment as an acclaimed actor, producer, and digital effects artist. After graduating from Brown University in 1997 with a B.S. in computer science and mathematics and a minor in theater arts, Masi Oka immediately launched his professional career at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), George Lucas’ visual effects company, working as a digital effects artist and technical director.
