Matt Riddle

Matt Riddle, known as “The Original Bro,” transitioned from a distinguished mixed martial arts career in the UFC to a prominent professional wrestling career, achieving championships in WWE, MLW, and NJPW. After gaining recognition on SpikeTV’s ‘The Ultimate Fighter 7’ in 2008, Matt Riddle launched a distinguished mixed martial arts career, debuting in the UFC in June 2008 against Dante Rivera. Over his tenure, he compiled an octagon record of 7-3 (2 NC), including a victory over Dan Cramer at UFC 101 in 2009 and a TKO win against DaMarques Johnson at UFC on Versus 2 in 2010. Riddle notably earned a $65,000 Submission of the Night bonus in July 2012.

He departed from WWE in September 2023. In 2024, Riddle continued his championship-winning trajectory, joining Major League Wrestling (MLW) where he secured the MLW World Heavyweight Championship. The same year, he expanded his global presence, competing in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and capturing the NJPW World Television Championship, as well as joining AAA Lucha Libre Worldwide where he earned the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship, further cementing his status as a multi-promotional champion.
