After more than a decade of experience in the ring, Nathan Cruz has become something of an institution in British professional wrestling. With six individual and tag team championship titles across Empire, New Generation, Progress and Real Deal Wrestling, Cruz has become one of the UK and European circuit’s most fearsome fighters.
Putting in performances for various independent promoters in Italy, Spain, France and the UK before he could legally buy a drink, Cruz cut his teeth with New Generation Wrestling, later breaking the record for the youngest full-time professional wrestler in the world in 2010. A regular attendee of WWE training camps throughout the UK, Cruz rose to the industry’s highest stage in 2014, competing for the industry giant on both their UK tour and championship tournament. When ITV rebooted its World of Sport Wrestling primetime show in 2018, Cruz was an obvious choice, subsequently enjoying high-profile performances alongside and against former Love Island star Adam Maxted in the show’s most heated and explosive storylines yet.
Though he’s undoubtedly at the peak of his professional wrestling career, Cruz continues to show exceptional form and promise for fights and championships to come. As well as his in-ring duties, Cruz now heads up training at the New Generation Wrestling training facility, helping to prepare and inspire the next generation of performers to follow in his illustrious footsteps.
