Maxwell Jacob Friedman

Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) is a professional wrestler who is a prominent figure in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and has held multiple championships throughout his career, making him a compelling personality for various brand collaborations. After making his professional in-ring debut in February 2015, Maxwell Jacob Friedman quickly established himself as a formidable presence in independent professional wrestling. Training under Brian Myers and Pat Buck at their Create A Pro Wrestling Academy, Friedman competed for prominent promotions such as Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) and Five Borough Wrestling. His burgeoning talent led to capturing his first significant title, the CZW Wired Championship, in May 2017, followed by the prestigious CZW World Heavyweight Championship in 2018, underscoring his rapid ascent in the sport.

His ability to blend reality and storyline, alongside consistent in-ring excellence, has garnered widespread industry recognition, including multiple ‘Promo Artist of the Year’ awards from ESPN and ‘Best on Interviews’ from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Expanding his versatile career, Friedman appeared in the 2023 film The Iron Claw and lent his voice to a character in Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part Two (2023). He was inducted into the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2023, with the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship slated for 2025.
