Mauricio Ochmann

Mauricio Ochmann is an acclaimed actor, producer, and director known for his extensive work in film and television across both American and Mexican productions. After making his debut film appearance alongside Kevin Costner, Paul Newman, and Robin Wright in the 1999 film Message in a Bottle, Mauricio Ochmann established a significant presence in American and Mexican productions. He secured his first television role in ‘The Other Thing’ opposite Héctor Suárez, followed by an appearance in the CBS television series That’s Life from 2000 to 2002. Ochmann gained widespread recognition for his starring performances in Spanish-language television, notably in El Chema and El Señor de los Cielos.

He also featured in the ‘Controlada’ episode of Netflix’s Easy in 2016, directed by Joe Swanberg. Expanding his footprint beyond acting, Ochmann co-founded A Toda Madre Entertainment in Los Angeles by 2017, a television and film production company. The company notably acquired the film rights to The Toltec Art of Life and Death by Don Miguel Ruiz. Ochmann solidified his influence in the Mexican film industry by starring in and executive producing two consecutive highest-grossing films.

In a strategic move to continue developing compelling content, he secured a multiyear first-look deal with Pantaya.
