Born on May 7, 1995, in Yangon, Myanmar, May Toe Khine is a Burmese actress and a fashion and commercial model. She is also the niece of actress Eaindra Kyaw Zin. May Toe Khine began her acting career with a notable debut in the documentary series “Mythical Myanmar Bagan.” This series explored the culture, heritage, and beauty of Bagan alongside Naw Phaw Eh Htar.

May Toe Khine made her acting debut in 2018. Her breakthrough came with her role as Akhayar in the 2019 film “Yuu Aung Chit Mae Lu.” In this film, she starred alongside Nay Toe and Eaindra Kyaw Zin. Her portrayal of the character received significant praise from fans and contributed to a surge in her popularity. She continued her television acting career, appearing in series such as “Chit Say” (2022) as Cherry and “Rangoon Nights” (2023) as Kyi Phyu. In 2023, she also played Poe Ei Seint in “The Marriage.” She is also known for her roles in “Magical Moe (PyinSaLet Moe)” (2025) and “Unbreakable Vows.”

In addition to her acting work, May Toe Khine has been active in political movements. Following the 2021 Myanmar coup d’état, she participated in anti-coup rallies and used her social media platforms to denounce the military power grab. She joined the “We Want Justice” three-finger salute movement. Due to her activism, warrants for her arrest were issued in April 2021 under Section 505 (a) of the penal code by the State Administration Council for inciting unrest. She was arrested on April 13, 2021, and subsequently released on June 30, 2021. Throughout her career, May Toe Khine has maintained a notable presence in both the entertainment industry and public discourse in Myanmar.
