Meg McRee transitioned from an academic path at Vanderbilt University to establish herself as a notable singer-songwriter with cuts for various artists and successful releases, touring with prominent musicians. After securing her first publishing deal with Hang Your Hat, a joint venture between Concord Music Publishing and acclaimed songwriter Hillary Lindsey, Meg McRee swiftly established herself as a prolific and in-demand songwriter. Her exceptional talent has led to her songs being recorded by a diverse roster of artists, including Elle King, Warren Zeiders, Ella Langley, Grace Potter, Colby Acuff, Paul Cauthen, Ashley Monroe, and Shelby Lynne, showcasing her versatility and profound impact within the music community.
