Merritt Patterson

Merritt Patterson, born on September 2, 1990, in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, embarked on her acting career at the age of 15. Her early roles included a recurring guest star on the ABC Family series Kyle XY. She later appeared opposite Debby Ryan in the Disney Channel film Radio Rebel. A significant turning point in her career came in 2013 when she starred as Olivia Matheson in the ABC Family series Ravenswood, a spin-off of Pretty Little Liars, which brought her widespread recognition.

Building on this foundation, Patterson further established herself in television with her portrayal of Ophelia Pryce in the E! series, The Royals, beginning in 2015. She continued to diversify her roles, joining the second season of the Crackle television drama The Art of More in 2016, playing Olivia Brukner, the daughter of Dennis Quaid’s character. Her film career also saw her in the Universal Pictures feature film Unbroken: Path to Redemption in 2018, where she played Cynthia Applewhite, earning her a Best Supporting Actress award at the Canadian International Faith & Family Film Festival.

Patterson has become a recognizable face in holiday films, starring in numerous romantic comedies for both Hallmark Channel and Great American Family since 2017. Her work spans across genres, including the dark satirical comedy The Now for the Farrelly brothers, where she worked alongside Bill Murray and Dave Franco in 2021. She has also expanded into producing, with executive producer credits on films like A Vintage Christmas (2024) and One Perfect Match (2023).
