Micheal Biehn was destined to be an actor from a young age. After gaining an acting scholarship at the University of Arizona, he was set on success already, but he left school before finishing his degree to make his own way to fame. After several small Hollywood performances, he made his breakout appearance in The Terminator as Kyle Reese, the role that made him a household name in the eighties.
Biehn appeared in the sequels to the popular Terminator film, but he also branched out to some of James Cameron’s other film projects. He played Corporal Hicks in the horror movie, Aliens, a film that is now considered a classic for the genre. He then went on to film The Abyss, one of his most underrated movies where he played a Navy SEAL officer who teeters on the edge of madness as they go deep diving and encounter an alien species. Cameron and Biehn collaborated for some time, working together to make some of the best known films in the sci-fi and horror genre. His work earned him a nomination for a Saturn Award, and he earned a Life Career Award in 2011 from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films.
Biehn has more recently taken on smaller roles, but he’s still appeared in some impressive shows, including the hit Star Wars spinoff, The Mandalorian, and twelve episodes of the show, 24 Hour Rental as a recurring character, Buzz.
