Michael Dameski

Michael Dameski is an Australian dancer, actor, and singer known for his extensive stage career and notable appearances on televised dance competitions. After placing in the top ten of ‘The 2001 Australian Dance Idol’ program at just six years old, Michael Dameski quickly established himself as a formidable talent in the dance world. He went on to represent Australia at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, where he earned gold in every category and was named overall Junior World Dancer. His early accolades continued in 2013, securing the Australian Dancer of the Year title at the Showcase Australian Dance Championships, followed by winning the U.S.

dance title Rainbow Dance in Las Vegas. Dameski also showcased his vocal talents as a guest at the Zlatno Slavejce (Golden Nightingale) children’s singing festival in Macedonia, recording the song ‘One Dance’. Dameski’s career advanced significantly when he joined the cast of ‘Billy Elliot the Musical.’ In October 2008, he became one of five ‘Billys’ for the Sydney production, concluding his Australian performances on June 13, 2009, in Melbourne. He then transitioned to the Broadway production of ‘Billy Elliot the Musical’ in December 2009, performing until September 2010.

His performances also include the acclaimed Savage X Fenty Show. Looking ahead, in February 2025, Dameski will be featured as the male lead in Lady Gaga’s highly anticipated music video for ‘Abracadabra’, further solidifying his position as a dynamic and sought-after performer across multiple platforms.
