Michael Nouri was born in Iraq but is an American television star and film actor available for a wide range of roles. Always proving himself dedicated and professional, he is an adaptable star still at the top of his game into his seventies. He had lots of success in the 80s, most notable playing Nick Hurley in the 1983 hit movie Flashdance. He also had a number of repeat roles in popular TV shows such as the likes of NCIS as Eli David. He has also played the father of Mossad officer (later Special Agent) Ziva David, and appeared in cult teen drama The O.C. as Dr. Neil Roberts.
Further to these roles Michael has been in Damages as Phil Grey and then appeared in the 2006 comedy Last Holiday with Queen Latifah where he played Congressman Stewart. The Hidden was a scene fiction action film that also had him in the cast as Detective Thomas Beck. Sky Atlantic’s big cop drama–starring Tom Selleck–Bluebloods in 2016 also invited him on for a guest show and The Slap and The Squeeze (which he also co-produced) are also amongst his credits. Now into his fifth decade as an actor, theatre and TV star, Michael serves as ambassador for Seeds of Peace, the Multiple Sclerosis Society and enjoys mentoring inner-city kids who think they want to become actors.
