Micol DiSegni is an Italian professional mixed martial artist and a pin-up model for the SuicideGirls punk rock website. She has appeared in over 20 photoshoots, two hardcover books (“Hard Girls, Soft Light” and “Geekology”), magazines, and DVDs (“UK Holiday”). Also known by the moniker Eden Von Hell, she has appeared in numerous Italian TV series, movies, and radio shows, including Rai Radio 2’s Late Show and Radio Rock’s ‘Non è un lavoro per donne’. She has featured in international magazines such as Men’s Health, GQ, Inked, and Tattoo Life.
In October 2015, DiSegni made her professional mixed martial arts debut with the South African company Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC), defeating Danella Eliasov by unanimous decision. She began dividing her training camps between Rome and Albuquerque after her second EFC contest at flyweight against Shana Power in June 2016. DiSegni had the opportunity to compete against and learn from some of the top fighters in the world at the Jackson Wink MMA Academy. She went on a five-fight winning streak after dropping to strawweight, mostly by finishing her opponents before the bell rang. DiSegni was the first Italian woman to compete in European and international events such as Cage Warriors, RXF, Brave Combat Federation, and Dana White’s Contender Series.
The first female-only MMA event in Europe was announced in early 2020 by the Spanish organisation AFL, with DiSegni as a first contender for the strawweight title. In October of that year, the main event of the ‘AFL Valkyries’ card saw DiSegni defeat Audrey Kerouche in the third round to become the AFL Strawweight Champion. DiSegni keeps up with her fans on Instagram, where she boasts over 110,000 followers.
