Pietro Fittipaldi

Pietro Fittipaldi established himself as a formidable talent in 2011, becoming Champion and ‘Rookie of the Year’ in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series for Limited Late Models. His rapid ascent continued the following year, earning him another ‘Rookie of the Year’ title in the Late Models category and a victory in the prestigious Pepsi 200 Fall Brawl. Transitioning to open-wheel racing in Europe, Fittipaldi secured the 2014 Protyre Formula Renault Championship title with a dominant performance, claiming 10 wins from 15 starts. He followed this with a victory in the MRF Challenge Formula 2000 Championship during the 2015-16 season, achieving 4 victories and 9 podiums.

Fittipaldi’s Formula One career saw him make two Grand Prix starts for Haas in 2020, where he competently filled in for an injured Romain Grosjean at the Sakhir and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix, successfully completing both races. His integral role with Haas has continued through 2024, alongside his active participation in the IMSA SportsCar Championship and European Le Mans Series, demonstrating his versatility across diverse racing disciplines. The 2024 season marks Fittipaldi’s full-time return to the IndyCar Series with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, further solidifying his presence in top-tier global motorsport.
