Mike Chen

Mike Chen is a prolific YouTuber focusing on food, travel, and educational content, known for channels like Strictly Dumpling and Beyond Science. After a foundational career in finance, Mike Chen transitioned into digital media, establishing his flagship YouTube channel ‘Strictly Dumpling’ in 2013. This marked the launch of a suite of successful food-centric vlogs including ‘Cook With Mikey’ (formerly Pho the Love of Food) and ‘Eat With Mikey,’ alongside the ‘Beyond Science’ channel dedicated to discussing unexplained phenomena and a personal channel named ‘Mike Chen.’ Prior to his independent channel ventures, Chen served as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley until 2006, then joined New Tang Dynasty Television as Head of Digital Strategy, where he co-created the YouTube channel ‘Off the Great Wall,’ exploring various aspects of Chinese culture.
