Three-time Super Bowl winner Mike Vrabel is a former linebacker and the head coach of the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League. At Ohio State, where he played collegiate Football, he was made an All-American. Vrabel began his career with the Kansas City Chiefs after being selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft. Four years later, as a free agent, he joined the New England Patriots. During his time with the franchise, he won three Super Bowl rings and was named an All-Pro.
Vrabel was the linebackers and defensive line coach at Ohio State for three seasons, after his playing career ended following the 2010 season. His NFL coaching career began in 2014 with the Houston Texans, where he first served as linebackers coach and later as defensive coordinator. In 2018, he was appointed head coach of the Titans.
Tyler and Carter are the two sons of Vrabel and his wife Jennifer. Tyler started three years on the offensive line for the Football team of Boston College Eagles before announcing his intention to enter the 2022 NFL Draft. The Atlanta Falcons signed undrafted Tyler during the 2022 preseason. Carter committed to playing baseball at Wabash Valley College in September 2019. With his former Ohio State teammates Ryan Miller and Luke Fickell, Vrabel established the “Mike’s Second and Seven Foundation” to advance literacy in the state of Ohio.
