Philly-born rapper/MC Mikey P lives for life in the spotlights. Famous as member of legendary band DACAV who received critical acclaim for 2010 track ‘Messy Style’ and 2012’s EP ‘Gathering Mode’, he is well known for his blend of breezy pop and hip-hop on the likes of addictive track ‘Wake Up (Feat. TC Carter & Kurt Kesedar)’, and the accompanying video for the song quickly hit 1.1 million views when uploaded to Facebook. With a real lust for life, Mikey P is also a familiar face to millions of global television viewers thanks to his star appearances on several reality television shows including American Ninja Warrior.

Born Michael Pericoloso in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mikey P has been interested in music for as long as he can remember. In 2006 he won the Philly Idol Competition as a member of the band DACAV alongside B-Roc, Kristyn and Michael Cartel. Mikey P and the band went on to play with likes of Pussy Cat Dolls, Cody Simpson, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Maroon 5, Flo Rida and Justin Bieber and also grabbed the MTV Video Music award for the Best Breakout Philly Artist.

In addition to being in an increasingly successful band, Mikey P made his television debut in 2008 on From G’s to Gents, before going on to star on other reality shows including Dating Naked and Ninja Warrior.
