Miki Sudo may be pint-sized, but her appetite knows no bounds- this competitive eater is one of the foremost women’s US champions when it comes to eating, and has completed hundreds of food challenges all across the United States. After her explosive entry into the competitive scene in 2013, winning a pho eating contest, she went on to enter into the famous Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, where she unseated Sonya Thomas the reigning champion, and since then Sudo has become the only female competitor without a nickname, and has retained her ranking of number one every year since.
After her success, Sudo was named Major League Eating’s top ranked female competitive eater, and in 2015 she reached the top three overall. Internationally, she is ranked fifth in the world, and holds an incredible four world records for eating the most Kimchi, Hotdish, ice cream and the women’s record for hot dogs. Sudo has consistently competed for seven straight years eating hot dogs in the iconic Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest and her latest herculean attempt brought her to the impressive total of forty eight and a half hot dogs in a single sitting.
Sudo can usually be found on her popular YouTube channel that boasts an incredible 2,200,000 views and over 36,000 subscribers. Sudo regularly uploads behind the scenes content showing her preparation for competitions, as well as herself and her current partner, also a competitive eater, tackling food challenges across the country together.
