Mikita Badziakouski was born on February 6, 1992, in Belarus. He began his professional poker career in 2010, at the age of 18, focusing on live tournaments. Online, he plays under the alias ‘fish2013’ on PokerStars and ‘HelicopterBen82’ on Full Tilt Poker. The ‘2013’ in his PokerStars alias signified the year he would turn 21, making him eligible to compete for a World Series of Poker (WSOP) title in America. His early career saw him establish a solid presence in the online poker scene, building a foundation for his later achievements.
Badziakouski’s career progressed significantly in the mid to late 2010s. In May 2018, he won the Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro festival, securing $2,499,090. This was followed by another notable win in August 2018 at the EPT Barcelona €100,000 Super High Roller, where he earned $1,930,851. His proficiency in various poker formats, including short deck hold ’em, led to him being dubbed the ‘Short Deck Poker king’ after winning an event at King’s Casino Rozvadov in October 2018. In September 2019, Badziakouski won the £50,000 NLHE event at the British Poker Open, earning £486,000. A significant milestone occurred in December 2023 when he won the $1 million Big One for One Drop tournament at the WPT World Championship at the Wynn in Las Vegas, claiming over $7 million. As of May 2025, his total recorded earnings from tournaments exceed $69 million, making him the all-time money leader in Belarus. He has accumulated 24 tournament wins and 190 total cashes in his career, including one WSOP bracelet.
