Miranda May was born on April 6, 1996, in Bowling Green, Ohio. She began her acting career at the age of 8, and by 10, she had moved to Los Angeles. Her early work included a role in the film “The Heartbreak Kid” (2007), starring Ben Stiller. Following this, she appeared in “Lower Learning” (2008) with Eva Longoria and Jason Biggs. Her television debut included a guest-starring role on “E.R.” (2008) and portraying a young Melissa McCarthy on “Samantha Who?” (2009). These initial experiences laid the foundation for her career in acting.

Alongside her acting endeavors, Miranda May developed her skills in stand-up comedy. She performed at venues such as the Hollywood Improv, Brea Improv, and Harrah’s Hotel in Las Vegas for over 8 years. Her comedic work allowed her to develop various characters and connect with audiences. In 2015, she joined Disney Channel’s “Liv and Maddie” as Spacey Lacey, appearing in four episodes. Later that year, she was cast as a series regular on the Disney Channel original series “BUNK’D,” portraying Lou Hockhauser. She has been a consistent presence on the show from 2015 to 2024, also serving as an executive producer from 2022 to 2024 for 52 episodes and directing 6 episodes from 2020 to 2023. Her work on “BUNK’D” represents a significant period of her career through various capacities. Miranda May also explores interests beyond acting, including scriptwriting, singing, reading, and fashion design, with aspirations to launch her own clothing line.
