The fabulous musician and record producer Morgan Rose is one of the most respected and innovative drummers in the industry. He is best known as the drummer and founding-member of the legendary rock band, Sevendust. He also writes lyrics for them, and is their live back-up vocalist. He was voted by Drum magazine and Drummersworld as one of the Top 100 drummers of all time. And in 2004, he was voted the number one metal drummer by Modern Drummer magazine. He is vice president of Imagen Records, and has his own clothing brand, Alien Freak Wear. His debut solo EP, Controlled Chaos, was released in 2020 to great acclaim.

Born in Atlanta, Rose was raised in New York until he and his family returned to Georgia when he as seven-years-old. His musician father taught him how to play guitar, and he joined a number of bands while he was at school. He later moved to Los Angeles to attend the Musicians’ Institute. His incredible music career began in the early 1990s when he joined the band, Snake Nation, alongside friend Vinnie Hornsby. Then, in 1992, he and Hornsby joined forces with Lajon Witherspoon to form Rumblefish, which eventually morphed into Sevendust. During his illustrious career, Rose has also played drums for Mötley Crüe, Korn, Eye Empire, The Infinite Staircase, and Ghost Embrace.
