Mosharraf Karim

Mosharraf Karim is a highly acclaimed Bangladeshi actor with a career spanning over two decades, known for his compelling performances across television, film, and web series. After establishing a strong foundation as a theatre artist for 16 years, performing lead roles with the renowned Nattokendro troupe, Mosharraf Karim transitioned to television with his single-episode TV play debut, ‘Atithi,’ in 1999, directed by Ferdous Hasan and aired on Channel I. He rapidly gained significant popularity, becoming a regular presence on television screens from February 2005, officially adopting the professional name Mosharraf Karim by late that year. Karim showcased his versatility in the popular telefilm ‘Kyarom’ (2004) alongside Nusrat Imroz Tisha, before making his cinematic debut in ‘Joyjatra’ (2004).

Karim’s film career progressed with a role in ‘Daruchini Dwip’ (2007), directed by Tauquir Ahmed. In 2009, he appeared in the film ‘Third Person Singular Number’ and simultaneously made his drama serial debut with ‘420,’ aired on Channel I. His impactful performances continued in acclaimed films such as ‘Television’ (2012) and ‘Jalal’s Story’ (2014), for which he received the Best Actor award at the Avanca Film Festival in 2015. He further starred in ‘Oggatonama’ (2016) and ‘Haldaa’ (2017), solidifying his reputation as a formidable dramatic actor.

He continues to be a prominent figure, consistently engaging in diverse projects that highlight his versatility and maintaining a strong connection with his widespread audience.
