The inspirational Nabela Noor is a creator, activist, and all-round entrepreneur. A first-generation Bangladeshi-American, her message to her millions of fans and followers is one of self-empowerment and self-love. Her TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube feeds are filled with emotional and uplifting vlog content, makeup tutorials, and comedic challenges. She has launched a homemaking community called Nabela Noor Home, a self-love brand called Zeba, and has even written an inspiring children’s book called Beautifully Me.
Noor grew up in the United States seeing virtually no representation of her heritage in popular culture. From a young age, she became determined to change that and work to improve visibility and inclusivity for Bengali and South Asian people in American. She has become a hugely respected voice among the Bengali and South Asian diaspora in America, and has even been invited to speak at the United Nations.
However, it is Noor’s social media content that is the most accessible, and it is that which has made her name. From documenting her difficult journey towards motherhood to publishing inspiring “pockets of peace” and offering safe spaces for self-love, Noor has proved to be a breath of fresh air on many people’s feeds, offering a calm and human counterpoint to the noise of modern society. Along with her husband, Seth, she has also given back by founding Noor House, a non-profit scholarship program for girls in Bangladesh. Now a mother of a beautiful baby, she is firmly committed to her family, but she retains presence on social media, reflecting on what she has learned as she embarks on the next stage of her inspirational life journey.
