Najee De-Tiege

Najee De-Tiege is a talented actor who earned his big break in 2009 when he secured the role of the Blue Ranger on Nickelodeon’s hit kids television series Power Rangers Super Samurai which he had to fly out to New Zealand to film! By appearing in one of the most iconic kids’ entertainment franchises around, he is an extremely memorable face, has over a hundred thousand followers on Instagram and makes frequent appearances at conventions. He also revels in using his Blue Ranger image to involve himself with many children’s charities and organizations such as the Make A Wish Foundation, Give Kids The World and Day of the Child.

More recently, he appeared as R.J. in Amazon Prime’s The Bay The Series starring Kristos Andrews and Mary Beth Evans. The show was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Awards in 2012, and won Daytime Emmy Awards in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 for Outstanding Digital Drama Series.

De-Tiege moved to Hawaii at the age of 16 to help his father with the family business Divine Hawaiian Coffee, but it was clear that his true path lay elsewhere. His father went on to encourage him to pursue his acting dreams in Hollywood. De-Tiege started out his career as a model in various commercials, ad campaigns and runway fashion shows before being launched into stardom as the Blue Ranger. He continues to delight his fans with interviews and insights into what it was like playing such an iconic children’s character, and will no doubt look for further exciting acting roles over the coming years.
