About

Nancy Fuller was born on March 27, 1949, in Claverack, New York. She grew up in a rural environment and later pursued her education at Santa Ana College. Her upbringing on a farm heavily influenced her culinary philosophy, which centers on preparing simple, delicious meals using fresh ingredients. Before her television career, Fuller operated a catering business for 30 years and, alongside her husband, co-owns Ginsberg’s Foods, a significant food distribution company.

Fuller transitioned into television after her grandchildren encouraged her to audition for Food Network. They filmed a demo, and Food Network selected her for her genuine personality. This led to her hosting “Farmhouse Rules,” a show filmed in her 17th-century Dutch colonial home in Claverack, New York. This property, known as Locust Dale Farm, was later put up for sale in 2020 for $5.9 million, having been purchased in 2002 for $405,000. Her kitchen, customized with local materials and antique tools, was a focal point of her show.

Throughout her career, Fuller has extended her Food Network presence by serving as a judge on popular cooking competition series. These include “Holiday Baking Championship,” “Spring Baking Championship,” and “Clash of the Grandmas.” She has also authored a cookbook, “Farmhouse Rules: Simple, Seasonal Meals for the Whole Family,” further sharing her culinary approach with a wider audience. Fuller emphasizes family values and integrity, consistently advocating for these principles in both her professional and personal life.
