Nancy Kerrigan

Nancy Kerrigan is an Olympic medalist and figure skating legend who has since transitioned to performing in various ice shows, hosting television programs, and becoming a spokesperson for various causes. After securing her first competition win at the Boston Open, Nancy Kerrigan quickly rose to national prominence in figure skating, placing fourth at the junior level of the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in 1987. Her senior debut followed with consistent improvements, achieving 12th nationally in 1988, fifth in 1989—the same year she earned a bronze medal at the Winter Universiade—and fourth in 1990.

Kerrigan’s diverse engagements in media include a guest spot on the popular television series ‘Boy Meets World’ in 1995, a role in the major motion picture ‘Blades of Glory’ in 2007, and an appearance on ABC’s ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2017. Her enduring impact on the sport was formally recognized with her induction into the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 2004, and she was further honored at the Ice Theatre of New York’s annual benefit gala in 2008.
