Ned Dennehy

Ned Dennehy is an Irish actor known for his extensive work across British, Irish, and American film and television, with notable roles in period dramas and contemporary series. After establishing himself as a versatile performer with an initial notable role as Mider in the television series The Mystic Knights of Tir na Nog (1998), Ned Dennehy went on to expand his filmography across diverse cinematic environments throughout the early 2000s, building a foundation for a career defined by consistent work and varied character portrayals across multiple genres in British, Irish, and American film and television. Dennehy’s career progressed with significant roles in high-profile projects, including his appearance as Alderton in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010), contributing to one of the most successful film franchises in history. He also featured as Radnor in Blitz (2011) and delivered a prominent performance as Tommy in the independent British feature Tyrannosaur (2011), which showcased his dramatic range.
