Born on November 21, 1987, in Bhagalpur, Bihar, Neha Sharma completed her education in fashion design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in New Delhi. Her acting career commenced with the Telugu film “Chirutha” in 2007, directed by Puri Jagannadh, where she starred opposite Ram Charan. This debut led to her appearing in another Telugu film, “Kurradu” (2009), before making her Hindi cinema debut in “Crook: It’s Good to Be Bad” (2010), alongside Emraan Hashmi.
Sharma’s career progressed with a mix of lead and supporting roles in Hindi films like “Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum” (2012), “Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story” (2013), and “Yamla Pagla Deewana 2” (2013). She expanded her reach into regional cinema, making her Malayalam and Tamil debut in the bilingual film “Solo” (2017) and her Punjabi debut in “Ik Sandhu Hunda Si” (2020). Her filmography also includes the critically noted short film “Kriti” (2016) and the Chinese historical adventure film “Xuan Zang” (2016), which was China’s official entry for the 89th Academy Awards.
