Neil Robertson

Neil Robertson has been ranked as a world number one snooker player and is the only non-UK born player to complete snooker’s Triple Crown. After winning the World Under-21 Snooker Championship in New Zealand in July 2003, Neil Robertson rejoined the WPBSA main tour, quickly establishing himself as a formidable talent. Having initially turned professional for the 1998–99 season, his return saw him qualify for the 2004 Masters and reach his first ranking event quarter-final at the 2004 European Open. Robertson secured his first ranking title at the 2006 Grand Prix, making him the first Australian to achieve this feat.

Demonstrating sustained excellence, Robertson was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in January 2025 for his significant contributions to the sport. He continued to add to his impressive trophy cabinet in 2025, securing his second World Grand Prix title and clinching the inaugural Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters. In September 2025, he reached another career landmark by recording his 1000th career century, joining an elite group of players. His commitment to the sport’s development was further highlighted by his appointment to the WPBSA Players Board in July 2025.
