American comedian, actor, writer, publisher, musician, activist and award-winning juggler, Ngaio Bealum is regarded as one of the country’s funniest comedians.
As an entertainer and a cannabis advocate, Bealum, who grew up in San Francisco is known for his hilarious comedy shows, sharing his perspective of the world as a pot lover. He is a regular host of High Times comedy events and has appeared on Getting Doug With High with fellow comedian Doug Benson and the ever-popular The Sarah Silverman Program. In 2012 Bealum released his comedy album, Weed and Sex. Speaking on the benefits of cannabis, Bealum is a writer for Cannabis Now and the Sacramento News & Reviews, for which he writes extensively on the politics of marijuana. He was also the original co-host of the TV show Cannabis Planet, alongside Sarah Diesel and published West Coast Cannabis Magazine. Bealum’s podcast, Cannabis Radio, discusses everything from cannabis trends to upcoming international events. He is also known for hosting the popular educational cannabis trivia app, Daily Bonfire. Throughout his career, Bealum has become well-known for his acting roles, having appeared in an array of films and TV series, including the hit 1995 film, Nine Months, alongside Hugh Grant and Julianne Moore.
Amongst his many projects, Bealum is also a former member of the hip hop band Most Chill Slackmob and is an award-winning juggler, having won the People’s Choice Award at the 1994 International Jugglers Association Fest.
