He continued his progression with a strong showing in a Nathan’s qualifier and a Top 10 finish at the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest in Coney Island during his debut year at the finals.

Wehry’s career demonstrates consistent high-level performance, including multiple top-four finishes at the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, with recent placements of 3rd, and 4th. His capabilities extend beyond hot dogs, as evidenced by setting a new world record at the Get Crackin’ Wonderful Pistachios Eating Championship in 2023, consuming 188 pistachios in 8 minutes. The following week, he secured another victory at the Wings For Wishes Wing Eating Championship by eating 173 chicken wings in 10 minutes.
