Renske Stoltz established her national presence after earning her first cap for the South Africa national netball team in 2015, competing against New Zealand in the Netball Quad Series. This followed her progression through the national system, having previously represented the under-19 Baby Proteas squad before advancing to the senior level. During her formative years, Stoltz developed her skills playing for North-West University Potchefstroom in championship competitions and then for the North West Flames from 2015 to 2017 within the Brutal Fruit Netball Cup, where her exceptional performance led to her recognition as a standout player in the 2016 Netball League. In 2017, Stoltz made a significant international career move by joining Loughborough Lightning for the British Fast5 All Stars Netball Championship.
Demonstrating her clutch performance, she famously secured the championship title with a critical last-minute five-pointer against formidable opponents Team Bath. Her instrumental role and outstanding contributions throughout the tournament were further celebrated with the prestigious Player of the Series award. Building on this success, Stoltz was subsequently selected to represent South Africa in the highly competitive 2017 Fast5 Netball World Series, held later that year in Australia. Further solidifying her professional career on the international stage, Stoltz signed with the reigning Netball Superleague champions Wasps Netball in 2018, contributing to their continued success.
Through her leadership both on and off the court, Stoltz has become a prominent role model, inspiring a new generation of female athletes and shaping the future of netball in her home country.
