Nicole Santamaria

Nicole Santamaria Pérez was born on March 7, 1987. She spent her early years and was raised in Bogotá, Colombia. Her career in entertainment began as a presenter for television programs, including “Ring 13” and “La Tapa” on the Colombian network Canal 13. She then transitioned into acting, making her debut in the television series “Juego limpio.”

Santamaria’s acting career progressed with roles in various Colombian television series, such as “La dama de Troya” on RCN, a role that gained her significant media attention. She also appeared in “La hipocondríaca” on Canal Caracol, “La diosa coronada,” and “Esmeraldas.” A notable turning point in her career was her co-starring role in “Bloque de búsqueda” alongside Rafael Novoa and Carolina Gómez. She also featured as one of four protagonists in “La Promesa,” a Caracol series co-produced with CMO Producciones. This series, filmed across four countries, achieved success in both Mexico and Colombia.

Her career expanded to international productions, including the American series “Covert Affairs” on the USA Network. Santamaria has also appeared in films such as “El paseo 3,” “Shakespeare – los espías de Dios,” and “Detective Marañón.” In 2012, she founded Búkuri vida y belleza, a company specializing in skincare products for sun exposure. More recently, she played a significant role in “Surviving Escobar: Alias J.J.” (2017), a co-production between Caracol and Netflix, portraying María Alexandra Restrepo de Velásquez. She continues to engage with her audience through social media platforms.
