Kellie Martin

Kellie Martin is an American actress, producer, and director known for her extensive career in television and film, transitioning from child roles to adult dramatic and mystery series. After securing a guest role in the Western series ‘Father Murphy’ in 1982, Kellie Martin quickly established herself as a versatile talent, making various guest appearances in popular television series including ‘Dallas,’ ‘Life with Lucy,’ and ‘My Two Dads.’ Her early career also expanded into voice acting, notably as Lolly in ‘Potato Head Kids’ from 1986 to 1987 and as Daphne Blake in ‘A Pup Named Scooby-Doo’ from 1988 to 1991. Martin gained significant recognition for her role as Rebecca ‘Becca’ Thatcher in the acclaimed drama series ‘Life Goes On,’ a character she portrayed from 1989 to 1993, while also lending her voice as Molly Tazmanian Devil in ‘Taz-Mania’ from 1991 to 1995. Martin’s career continued its upward trajectory with lead roles, including Christy Huddleston in the period series ‘Christy’ from 1994 to 1995, and lending her voice as Roxanne in Disney’s animated feature ‘A Goofy Movie’ in 1995.

She then joined the cast of the critically acclaimed medical drama ‘ER,’ starring as medical student Lucy Knight from 1998 to 2000. In 2001, Martin successfully completed her art history degree at Yale University. Upon her return to acting, she took on the lead role of Samantha Kinsey in the popular ‘Mystery Woman’ film series, which aired from 2003 to 2007. Expanding her creative endeavors, Martin made her directorial debut by helming two installments of the ‘Mystery Woman’ film series in 2005 and 2006.
