Nikki Osbourne

Nikki Osbourne was born on July 19, 1981, in Redcliffe, Queensland, Australia. Her career began in acting, leading to roles in feature films and television mini-series. She was part of the American mini-series “The Mystery of Natalie Wood” in 2003, portraying Jackie Estes. In 2004, Osbourne appeared in the Australian television mini-series “Jessica” as Gwendolyn Thomas, and in the Australian film “Ned” as Tiffany. These early experiences provided a foundation for her diverse career in the entertainment industry.

Osbourne expanded her reach into television hosting, becoming known as a host for the Australian phone-in quiz show “Quizmania” on the Nine Network from 2006 to 2007, during which she gained live national television experience. She departed “Quizmania” to join the Mick Molloy comedy series “The Nation.” Her work also includes appearances in television commercials for various brands such as Greater Union, The Athlete’s Foot, Streets ice cream, Capital One, and AAMI. In 2013, she featured in the Australian Unity advertising campaign as “Zoe.” Osbourne’s comedic talent was further showcased in the Channel 7 sketch comedy show “Kinne” from 2014 to 2015, where she played various characters.

In recent years, Osbourne has become a prominent figure in stand-up comedy and social media. Her regular sketches and characters, such as ‘Angry Aunt’ and ‘Bush Barbie,’ have garnered over 800,000 followers and millions of views. She wrote, directed, and starred in her TV pilot, “Bush Barbie vs The World,” which aired on Network Ten. Her debut solo stand-up comedy show, “On The Spectrum,” in 2018, addressed her experiences parenting a child with autism, leading to national and international discussions on comedy topics. She has performed at the Sydney Opera House for “Just For Laughs” and hosted its “Uncut” showcase from the Montreal festival. In 2024, Osbourne participated in “Dancing With The Stars” on the Seven Network, reaching the Grand Finale. In November 2024, it was announced that she would join Nova 106.9 Brisbane as co-host of the “Ash, Luttsy & Nikki Osborne Show” starting in January 2025, which quickly became Brisbane’s #1 Breakfast Show with a significant increase in listenership.
