Paul Amos

Paul Amos, born on March 6, 1975, in Pencoed, Wales, established a foundational acting career after completing his studies at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. His early career included work with prestigious theatre companies such as the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre. In 2005, Amos relocated to Toronto, Canada, and later settled in Stratford, Ontario, where he expanded his acting portfolio across various mediums.

Amos gained widespread recognition for his recurring role as Vex in the Showcase/Syfy hit series “Lost Girl,” which aired its fifth season recently. He also became known for his portrayal of Dr. Roberts in “Murdoch Mysteries.” His voice acting career includes the lead role of Jacob Frye in Ubisoft’s critically acclaimed “Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate,” released in October 2015, and King Rhodri in “Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla” in 2020. His television credits further include appearances in “Combat Hospital,” “Warehouse 13,” “Degrassi goes to Hollywood,” “Mudpit,” “She’s the Mayor,” “Casualty” (BBC), “Aaron Stone,” “Designated Survivor,” and “Jupiter’s Legacy.”

Beyond acting, Paul Amos has also delved into production, serving as an associate producer for the animated web series adaptation of “Captain Canuck” (2013-2014) and the 2023 film “Going In.” He has additional upcoming executive producer roles for the TV series “Freelance” and “Fantomah,” demonstrating a continued commitment to diverse projects within the entertainment industry. His film work includes indie features such as “Nexus,” “Long Gone Day,” “Bastards,” “Sex After Kids,” “Darken,” and “The Corruption of Divine Providence.” He is married to Danielle Brodhagen, with whom he has a daughter named Elloise.
