Cult star Paul Amos is a Welsh actor and web series producer. The Lost Girl character of Vex and the Assassin’s Creed video game character of Jacob Frye are two of his most well-known credits. Pencoed, Wales is where Amos was born and he attended Ysgol Gyfun Llanhari, a Welsh language school. While in the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), he pursued a career in the arts. He relocated to Toronto, Canada, in 2005.

At San Diego Comic Con 2015, Amos ran the Assassin’s Creed obstacle course, during which he strained a muscle in his leg. He had to retake the course since his initial attempt had not been timed. Paul achieved the course record despite his leg injury, clocking it at 36.1 seconds. “Assassin’s Creed: Speed Dating” was one of the many jokes that Amos and his co-star Victoria Atkin would do together during voice acting breaks while creating the video game.

Amos married Danielle Brodhagen in 2016 and they had a daughter, Elloise. They reside in Vancouver, British Columbia. Amos is a proponent of independence for his homeland of Wales.
