Niko Medved is a distinguished American college basketball coach, currently serving as the head men’s basketball coach at Colorado State University. His coaching journey began as an assistant coach at Furman University from 1999 to 2006, where he laid the groundwork for his future success. During his tenure, Medved played a pivotal role in developing the program, which set the stage for his later achievements.
Medved’s next significant role was as an assistant coach at his alma mater, the University of Minnesota, where he contributed to the team’s competitive edge under the leadership of Dan Monson and Jim Molinari.
